Classic Movie Theaters

Going to the movies has been an important shared pastime in my life with my friends and family. Many of my strongest memories are connected to the cinema in some way. In the current age of content home streaming I wanted to preserve the architecture and neighborhood role that these classic theaters still play in our city.
Willamette Valley Nature and Wildlife

Photographing wildlife is as much about the process as the result. We have so much natural beauty in the Pacific Northwest, much of it almost right outside our front door. Oregon and the local communities have done an amazing job preserving wetlands and other natural areas for all of us to enjoy. I wanted to document the fantastic preservation work that has been done, and how much you can see and experience without going far from home.
Photo-A-Day

I maintained my health and sanity by going out every day looking for a shot that I’d be willing to immediately post on my Instagram account as the photo of the day.
Doors with Personality
There is something magical about discovering a door with a unique, quirky, or some other kind of distinctive personality. The doors are kind of a gift to the outside world, since the homeowner doesn’t see the door when they are in the house. I look for these when I am walking around a new neighborhood or city.
